$88.00 per hour charged in 15 minute increments at $22.00 per 15 minutes.

terms and conditions
1. Service Conditions:
Remote and over the phone service will only be performed to new clients on the proviso that credit card details are or in the case of businesses three trade references are provided before the service going ahead.
2. Hardware Warranty:
Warranty work is valid for replacement of hardware under manufacturers warranty or statutory warranty as set out in Australian consumer law. Genuine hardware faults found within the warranty period will be replaced by Nerd Alert at no cost to the client.
3. Misconfiguration:
Warranty for misconfiguration of software or operating system is valid for six weeks after initial service in cases where misconfiguration was made by technician and not the client after the service. Remedy for this will be a return visit or remote session to rectify the problem at no cost to the client.
4. Service Limitations:
a) Our warranty does not exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies under Australian consumer law. It also does not cover damages caused by accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications to the hardware or software.
b) Any third-party components or software not provided or recommended by us are not covered under our warranty.
c) We are not responsible for data loss or software/application licenses during the repair process. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up their data and inform us of software licensing arrangements. However we do back up before we start in situations where it is possible and or practical and will take reasonable steps to preserve any legitimate licensing arrangements that were there before we started.
5. Call Out Fee:
The call out fee is applicable only during the initial visit for a new issue as per guidelines set out in Australian consumer law. If you require our services for multiple issues during a single visit, you will be charged the call out fee once. Subsequent visits for the same or related issues within a reasonable timeframe will not incur additional call out fees or minimum charge requirements. Addresses that fall within the West Pennant Hills 2125 postcode will have their call out fee waived.
6. Payment Terms
a) Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the repair work, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
b) We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic funds transfers.
7. Service Availability
Our computer repair services are subject to technician availability and scheduling. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred service time and date.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
A cancellation fee of $88 (inc gst) can be charged if cancellations or rescheduling are not made at least two hours before the appointment time and the cancellation is made by the client. Rescheduling of appointments will be carried out according to technician availability, customer availability and urgency.
9. Liability
Our liability is subject to provisions set out in Australian consumer law and we shall not engage in any conduct that contravenes or violates the consumer guarantees provided under Australian consumer law.
10. Governing Law
these terms and conditions are governed by Australian consumer law, and any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with regulations stipulated therein.
by engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions, which are designed to be in compliance with Australian consumer law. we are committed to ensuring that our services align with the rights and protections afforded to consumers as stipulated in Australian consumer law. we reserve the right to amend these terms at our discretion, provided such changes comply within regulations set out in Australian consumer law and are communicated to the customer.
